PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME
Welcome colleagues, parents, and visitors to our Zavala web site. I am pleased that you are interested in learning about our wonderful community of learners. Our campus is located near the U. S.-Mexico border and serves approximately 370 students in Grades PreK-5.
Zavala was named for Lorenzo De Zavala, Mexican businessman, early Texas settler (early 1800's), and first Vice President of the Republic of Texas. 1925 marks the year of original occupancy.
Zavala is a special place characterized by long traditions and an excellent staff of dedicated educators whose goal is to provide an equitable and high quality education to every child that is fortunate to attend our school.
We welcome you to visit our campus at 51 N. Hammet, El Paso, Texas.
Thank you for visiting our web site!
